Whether
for a family, an individual or a group, we customize private tours
in China to customers' specific interests. Importantly, all China
tours are accompanied by a carefully selected and trained bilingual,
Western China Host. (Pictured right is a wine-tasting on the Great
Wall.)
Fully customized itineraries incur a $100 fee. Should
you commission a tour, this fee will be applied to the full tour
cost
A private tour is wonderfully flexible. Not only
can we re-order our existing itineraries to cater to your timetable,
but we can also suggest new destinations, such as Dunhuang,
Lhasa or Huangshan.
As well as by destination, itineraries can be organized by theme. A culinary tour, for example, incorporates cooking lessons at the four regional capitals of Chinese cuisine. Other popular themes by which tours can be arranged are shopping, contemporary art and Buddhist art.
As
your itinerary takes shape, we will suggest
additional improvements. For example, when appropriate we may suggest
a martial arts performance, a lecture on Chinese Traditional Thought
or a specialist walking tour of Shanghai's French Concession.
