I am proud of the Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation awarded by the Travel Institute for those who have completed a graduate level travel management course and acquired 5 years or more industry experience. I am a graduate from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice (minors in History, Psychology, and Sociology), but I decided to turn my passion for travel into a career. Therefore, I completed Penn Foster Career School's Travel and Tourism Specialist certification program. Since then, I have been loving every minute of helping others plan their perfect trips. My first international trip was in 1970 and I've been traveling ever since. That first trip was the beginning of a passion that led to 30 years (and counting!) as a travel professional. As a child, I collected postage stamps. I remember being fascinated by the beauty of some of the stamps that came from all over the world. This fascination was fueled by the fact I grew up living 3 houses away from a neighbor who was a mechanic for American Airlines. He and his wife traveled to many of the destinations my stamps came from. I used to sit on a stool and watch as he tinkered with his projects. While he worked, he told me about the city or country he and his wife had just visited. Ralph always said he thought I would find a career in the Travel Industry. He was correct. In my career that has spanned 40 years, I have worked as a Tour Escort, managed a Travel Agency, and worked as a Travel Consultant. My present position as a Senior Travel Consultant at All-Travel is probably the most rewarding position I have ever held. Because I started in the industry before computers existed and specialties abounded, I was trained as an “all around agent”. As a result of this experience, I am able to manage travel that ranges from Corporate to very “High End Leisure”, and every other type of travel in between. With the incredible technology that is available today, my job is even more exciting. I am fortunate to have a wonderful mix of clients. While I enjoy great pleasure in making my Corporate clients’ travels as easy as possible and my Leisure clients’ dreams come true, I have still not yet decided what I want to be when I grow up. Travel has been an exciting part of my life from childhood when our family traveled with my father when he did his research in the field.  As a young woman of 20, I traveled extensively for 9 months in Europe, Africa and Asia which was a life changing experience and later motivated me to inspire and help my clients to share in that transformation.  I am passionate to bring the world to my clients and my clients to the world.

Bill resided in Taipei, Taiwan for 3 years while serving in the U.S. Navy. He traveled the island extensively visiting Kaohsiung, Tainan, Hualien, and vacationing at Sun Moon Lake. He visited the Philippines and Manila several times, also Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok, transiting the Thai/Malaysian peninsula including Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, and Penang. When I was young, I always wanted to be a flight attendant until height restrictions clipped my wings and prevented me from pursuing my dream.  While working with a national development company where I managed the company's travel and meetings, I decided to enter the travel industry. Traveling throughout the eastern seaboard from Nova Scotia to Florida and crisscrossing the United States was my first goal.  I have been to four continents and visited thirty countries by plane, train, ship, sailboat and automobile.  One of my most memorable trips was visiting China where my husband and I walked on the Great Wall.  You cannot explain what you felt. I am a permanently employed as a Senior Leisure Travel Consultant, part of a team of seven based in our Guernsey office. I have not seen the whole world yet, but its on my list! China has always been number 1 on my bucket list. Last year I spent 2 weeks  in China. My career began working for Lufthansa and British Airways with great access to fly nearly anywhere, including China. For the past 30 years I have been on the Travel Consultant side creating customized itineraries which guarantee a fantastic experience including fantastic hotels, expert guides, transfers and built-in flexibility to change things around in an unstable day-to-day world. I am a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC), attend many trainings and get out as much as possible to discover new places whenever I can. 

My travel background is in cruising, having worked for Cunard Line for 23+ years as Manager of the World Cruise desk and specialty reservations. Though the majority of my personal travel has been in Europe and the Caribbean, work commitments with Cunard provided me the opportunity to travel to Asia, and the Pacific rim as well.
