BUSAN

Boasting stunning coastal hikes, beachside skyscrapers, an industrious port and a wide range of stylish restaurants and shopping, Busan is one of South Korea’s most desirable cities.

With a third the population of Seoul, Busan is the nation’s second-largest city. Economically reliant on its port, which handles 75% of the country’s container traffic, the city has a distinct character which is defined both by its position as one of the country’s economic powerhouses as well it’s stunningly beautiful coastline.  There is a contemporary edge to the city, with its gleaming glass skyscrapers and impressive harbor, and it’s no surprise that the annual Busan International Film Festival is the largest in Asia.
